Now I love all kinds of steaks, but I would say filet-mignon charcoal grilled to mudium-rare paired with atlantic lobster tail is my favorite by far :D

my favorite steak house in Vancouver : Gotham's.
" favorite steak house in Seattle : the Met (Metropolitan Grill) <--- BEST!
" favorite steak house in Chicago : Morton's

Depends on my mood.

Filet, grilled has been a recent favorite. Ribeye on iron pan is great too. Skirt steak is amazing Brazillian bbq style.

All rare, of course.

Prime rib bloody w/ fresh horseradish (not the sauce). Best ones I've had were Copper Celler in Knoxville and Durant's in Phoenix.

If anyone says well done they should be banned.

A good T-Bone always gets me going. Medium rare plz and only use salt + black pepper.
Add a baked potato with sour cream and red wine or a good dark beer.

:)

Ribeye, medium rare. Grilled some up perfect on the charcoal weber tonight. Mesquite smoke with some monteal steak seasoning, quick seared... mmm... like buttah!

Yep, a well cooked ribeye is the bee's knees.

On an average 1.25" thick ribeye I like about 3/4" of pink right through the middle, well seared on the outside. That can be anywhere from medium/rare to medium/well depending on where you eat.

Cooked at home, we use a Jaccard tenderizer then cook it up with some hickory chips in a smoker box. I'm just too damn lazy for charcoal.

Prime Rib, Medium.

Visiting Denver, Colorado? Dress up and go to "The Trial Dust Steakhouse". :)

NY Strip, medium-rare to rare with a bit of Famous Dave's Steak & Burger seasoning on it, cooked over a charcoal grill. Meat must not be bought from a seedy grocery store case. ;)

Prime Rib is also excellent, but it's only *really* good at Don Roth's Blackhawk. :D

I really like a good t-bone... it's the best of both worlds: a little very tender and juicy piece of filet mignon, and a larger piece of flavorful and juicy sirloin.

Theres nothing like a good NY strip. Amazingly enough I havent been able to find a real strip in WA state since I moved here. I ordered a strip at one steak joint and they brought me what looked like a ribeye. When I asked where the hell my strip was they said it was a mistake. It was a new york steak.
