Status bar at bottom of IE6 has disappeared.

I'm not sure what I was doing with my browser,...but today, I can't see the bar at the bottom of the browser that tells you what's going on (ex. Opening page:..., Connecting to server...) I'm using IE6 in WinXP. Has anyone had this problem or have a solution? Thanks in advance.

it's a bug in IE6 and winXP. as far as i know. but if you want it back just go to "VIEW" in IE6 and check the "Status Bar". and it will come back. that is all. it will disappear again eventually. it's rather annoying.
