Oh! What's this in my pile of cr@p? Five 3.5/5.25 hard drive brackets! Who you calling a packrat??? 😉 Looks like I've got something to do today! 😀

IT LIVES! 🙂 Okay... got the case on Thursday and Baldy18's stuff a while ago... assembled the mobo, cpus, hs/fans (took off the colored doohickies), ram, cdrom, floppy, psu, el-cheapo vidcard and the Compaq Smart Array 221 RAID controller... plugged it in, crossed my fingers hoping that I didn't cross any wires and she (definately a she) booted up beautifully! I'll get some pics soon. 🙂
Next is to install the SCSI drives and set up the RAID array and install the OS. I've bought some 3.5 -> 5.25 brackets for the hard drives until such time as the drive cage arrives, and they should come next week. For now, I may just throw an IDE drive in there and do some crunching until I'm ready to roll! 🙂
