hmmm... TSC would be pretty simple since all I need to do is change the get_stats URLs... the node information would be more of a problem since I'm using a compiled C pgm that shauge from Team Norway gave me that is hard coded to the D2OL stats pages. Lemme see what I can do :)

Geoff: First, thanks again for all the stats. I do have a thought / consideration for your next update. When you change you name you come in as a new member. The production graph shows 2,160 for my first day and then around 110 per day afterward. Is there a way that you can have it not count the first day? Averages are also messed up because of the first big day. Just a suggestion for the next update. Not really a huge issue.

Jarrod - You're welcome! :) The only stats that I get that has an ID number instead of using the name as either the team or individual identifier is Lifemapper. Unforturnately, for any of the other projects, I can't tell if someone is a new user or simply a name change. I can blow away a day of data for a single user pretty easily. If people know ahead of time (before the daily update on the day that the name is changed) I can make the change in my database so that this doesn't happen. I think I had that posted on the stats main page for a while, but nobody took me up on that offer so I just took it down since it was just taking up space on the page.

I am TA_JarrodHammack. If you can blow off the one day of stats easily, then please do. If not, then dont worry about it. I would give you a link to my stats but due to the popularity of your page iI get the following:

"The page cannot be displayed
There are too many people accessing the Web site at this time.

HTTP 403.9 - Access Forbidden: Too many users are connected
Internet Information Services
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Technical Information (for support personnel)

Background:

Seems there are more stat junkies than just me ;)

Your first day is history!

I'm looking at the server settings for the other problem...

Okay... found a way to increase the max connections from 10 to 40 (this is running on Win2K Pro, not server), so that should ease the pain a bit :) I may just have to figure out how to install Apache... maybe convert the box to Unix! :)

Apache is great, I'd be happy to help you install it if need be :)

Geoff,

If you can install Apache, (and can get a port 80 address, slightly less important), i'll point TAstats.com at your box :) It will make things MUCH easier ;) If you need a hand setting up Apache, let me know, i've done it quite a few times :)

Looks good Geoff. The only thing I see is when you click on a link the graph gives an illegal scale error.

Yeah... the graph only has one point at this time... that will change after midnight :) I didn't bother coding for that event since it will be rare.

Great work, Geoff :)

Let me know when you've got an IP addy that doesn't need a specific port :)

Excellent, Geoff. This is excellent! It's really nice to have quality stats and not, say, looking at raw data.
