Hi

I have 3 pc's linked to a media pc with TV reception. At the moment im sharing them over NEXTPVR/Kodi. The only issue is when I reset my router I need to change the settings to get Kodi running again. How do I go about setting a static address? Is it possible to do it in the router or do I need to change network settings in each of the PC's?

router =d6200

Thanks!
Brett

If you reset the router though, you would lose it. Maybe you can explain to us why you need static addresses.

For example, I only use a static ip on my file/ media server, as I want it on the local network only. I have it set in the os and in the router.

Also, if you are having to reset your router a lot to get your Internet back, it could be a sign that it is failing.

Sorry reset is wrong word. Meant restart. Occasionally the reception on the pc upstairs goes haywire and restart fixes it. Hope it's not an overheating WiFi module. Actual internet connection is good. Thanks Jack, must have had a boy look when going through settings.
