Paying $82/month now for full coverage. I have had my car towed 3 times and got the money back no questions asked. It was towed 3 times within 5 days.

Anyhow, I was working as usual today, doing boring paper work when the agent called me.
She informed me that they were working on getting my rate down and enter me as a 'preferred customer' since I've been with them for 3+ years now.

Hopefully something good comes out of this. :p

I got in an accident and an incompetent claims agent insisted it was my fault and refused to help. Neither her supervisor or my agent were willing to intervene. All this despite the other driver receiving a citation and a police report which clearly showed I had the right of way.

I ended up calling the other driver's insurance company and they wrote me a check promptly. I proceeded to cancel my policy and have had a perfect experience with Nationwide ever since. Fvck you State Farm.

Coming up on 4 years with StateFarm. I have both my auto and renters insurance through them. Couldn't be happier.

Almost 10 years with them here. I pay $75/month with my renter's insurance included. They give me a few discounts for having multiple lines with them, never had an accident, all that good stuff.

Yeah I pay like...$85 a month and I haven't hit the 25 year discount thing. It wasn't even over $90/month when I drove a 2 door 1970 Monte Carlo with a 350cu engine.

How many accidents do you people get in? I've never had a ticket or accident and I routinely go 10-15mph above the speed limit.

I had State Farm a few years back. Every year our rates would go UP not down, even though we had excellent driving records. Needless to say, we shopped around and got a better deal.

On a side note, I just moved from one zipcode to another (only 3 miles away). In the old zipcode I was paying $1300 a year for a 1993 Chevy Corsica 4 dr (and before that was paying almost $1600 through State Farm).

I bought a 6 cylinder GMC Jimmy, put some collision and comprehensive on it, and now pay $1100 a year to cover both vehicles in the new zipcode with the same insurance company (Liberty Mutual). Redlining may be illegal but it's obviously still going on.

Switched to Geico last year from prudential, saving $1000/year.

My mother also switched and had an accident not long after (hit a deer) and she said they were excellent to deal with.

I have progressive. Pay ~700 with basic coverage. Got into an accident. Other driver was clearly at fault. Despite having only the basic insurance, they worked with me till the other party repaired my vehicle
