Did Trump once again mention not deny healthcare to people with pre-existing conditions?? OMG -- if he did...what a buffoon and nobody should believe him!!

That speech was an awesome display of the art of propaganda. He turned the SOTU into a campaign rally, complete with maudlin posturing & chants of USA! The Faithful are absolutely in thrall, I'm sure.

At least you're honest! However, I think you really believed that the US didn't offer help until I gave you a source. Am I right? Who knows. Doesn't matter anyway. I think we've covered it all by now.
The original claim by Trump was that US is coordinating with China on trying to stop the coronavirus. It is not true. See the following:

US says they offered help, China says we did not. Between the two I'm not sure who to trust, neither is especially trustworthy. However, one thing is true for sure - US is NOT coordination with China on coronavirus. China is coordinating with WHO, WHO representatives are currently in China working with Chinese, CDC has no presence in China. So Trump lied, again. Par for course.

Yes, it's him. Thank you. But why the hell does he have a wad of cash in the suit pocket?
Probably just met with 'friends' (aka lobbyists) for drinks before the speech. He's too fat to fit those wads of cash in his trousers.

So US is cooperating with China on coronovirus? Funny, I just heard news story on NPR saying we're not. Jeez, whom should I believe?
Believe the one that is not Trump. Can't go wrong.

Absolutely! The guy's a fucking evil genius when it comes to campaigning. One nationally televised manipulative campaign speech.

LOL he flat out lying. My Advair has continued to go up and up and up over the past 4 years. Last time I got it it was $395.
I had my Flovent cost drop by $300 this year for a 3 mo supply (now at $130 every 3 months) but that was only due to a change in IRS rules last year (enabled by the ACA) that went into effect on my plan this year - some maintenance meds now qualify under preventative care medication rules, allowing for discounted rates to apply pre-deductible. But now that money doesn't count towards the deductible I wasn't going to meet anyway.

Regardless, meds are still insanely priced, and Trump has done just about jack shit to fix that.

A bi-partizan bill has been sitting on Moscow Mitch's desk for ages, he won't bring it to the floor because he needs big pharma dark $$ to help bamboozle to locals into not knowing just how big a POS he really is.

i take humira for crohn's disease. the cost of the drug to my insurance is 65k/year.
That's insane. At least there are 3-4 approved biosimilars now (generic versions of antibody drugs), but considering the costs of reverse engineering antibody drugs to make a biosimilars and get it through the regulatory process, I doubt they'd sell at that much of a discount in the US.

And the Democrats can't even release the results of the caucus in Iowa. They're not sure whose spare delegates they want to find in a dark corner. I bet Nancy is on her way down to tear the results up.

Do you say this knowing that in 2012 it took Republicans two weeks to release the Iowa results?

Look at all of the egg on your face now.

Omelet says what?

I'm still smarting over Dewey defeats Truman. Any other old news you want to bring up? None of that matters because it's old news.

ohh a deflection.....

You have to understand that to him history started when trump was elected. Everything bad that happened happened before trump and anything positive that has happened is because of trump.

It’s how cult members respond to facts that challenge the narrative their cult leader has preached to the followers.

Literally nothing changes when Donald speaks.
He's still the same piece of shit he always was. I wish people would just stop paying attention to him. Thats where he gets all his power, he's not smart enough to negotiate anything himself. His success is mostly our fault for caring about him.

Can I rephrase this a little..... His success is mostly our fault for giving him any amount of attention! I am sure a lot of us out here do not care about Donald!

And neither will this matter, if Iowa can't handle being 1st someone else can take over. All the votes were cast on paper ballots so eventually they will get it counted and correct. The real question is who will continue momentum in NH.
