It's not really the point of this thread, but pre-pandemic before prices shot through the roof, at least groceries were affordable enough to not spend $100/bag. Housing/rent price increases were inevitable (and will only get worse) but that only matters if you need a new place to live. Day to day expenses have gone up though. Even if it's slowing from inflation decreasing (which I appreciate), shit's still expensive and last I check civilians don't get COLA or inflation adjustments, unless that's what we're calling raises now.
