So Ohio's whooping of NIU throws a wrench into preseason predictions of NIU taking the MAC. And Ohio's now on top, 2-0 for the first time in 10 years. Rutgers will be a tough test for them next week.

Toledo, picked 2nd, is muddling through a crappy game against WMU, trying to get to back to 1-1. Akron, picked 1st in the east, barely escaped with a (literally) last second win over N.C. State, and are 1-1 after losing to penn state last week. Miami of Ohio is laughably 0-2, along with Kent State, CMU, EMU, and NIU.

Pretty crappy showing for the mac. Any guesses as to who will be playing in January?

Hmm...I thought Ohio would be a one game wonder with their win over Pitt last year. Looks like Solich is getting that team turned around.

I still like NIU, so I'll go with NIU vs. Akron in the MAC Championship game.

I was at that Ohio vs NIU game. #7 from NIU cant catch anything. What did he drop...like 3 TD passes?

Painful.

Miami may be 0-2, but its 0-2 to Big Ten teams...of which they should have beaten Purdue @ Purdue. They certainly seem to have some offensive firepower.
