edit: mine is the same clip, just in some weird MPG format (WMP may have issues playing it, try powerdvd or MP classic).

There is a reason the original film then trilogy was picked; its because its a better story. Perhaps because Ep3 will be "closer" to Ep4 than the others it might just be a good StarWars movie. Especially since I don't see how they can salvage a "happy" ending out of this one where Ep1 and 2 somehow everything seemed to work out in favor of the badguys, something you wouldn't expect considering the good guys took 2 of 3 in Episodes 4-6, you'd expect Eps 1-3 to severely lack such fairy tale happy endings. Ep3 may just have some "Empire Strikes Back" feel to it because I seriously doubt its going to end happy as we all know what happens next...

That is also another downer, is that with the original triliogy we were able to be suprised by facts that Vader is Luke's father, whereas by going back in time we can't really be suprised by what happens. Cute wittwle Annie Skywawker turns into Vader? Please, impossible, especially for how good of a heart he had...yet we all knew it had to be...

I dunno, after hyping myself up for Ep1 and then being somewhat let down, I didn't let myself get too hyped up for Ep2 and was plesantly suprised, no master piece but it was highly enjoyable. Doing the same for Ep3 certainly can't hurt.

It is really hard to make "sequels" however, we're lucky Eps 5 and 6 turned out so good, perfect compliments to Ep 4, but when you have a good thing that was meant to be as it is, when you try to force something extra it usually doesn't turn out to good, you end up getting results like the 2nd and 3rd Matrix sequels where it was near impossible to create a movie as unique and good as the first while be constricted to the same characters and ideas. I actually give Lucas credit to doing such a good job in such respects, I honostly don't think anyone could have done it any better while making sure it still would fit with the original trilogy.

I dunno, I'm going to wait and see before I finally judge it all, it could be one of those rare senarios where the first 2 pieces of the puzzle don't seem to fit right until it is all put together.
