Didn't play the beta.
REALLY want it to be good.
This thread not giving me hope 🙁

Its not that bad if you like fast paced shooters. Game looks great & like Star Wars. There is a lot of running around, shooting and missing like the prequel movies.
I didn't buy it because I like slower paced shooters.

Not just the looks, but the sounds. It's a very immersive Star Wars experience.

But it's not a deep one. My pre-order remains intact and I will enjoy playing this when I have that time.

Its a mobile game's mechanics wrapped in AAA graphics and sound. Some people are fine with that. Some aren't. What most of us are mad about is the people who *are* okay with that are the one who would only play the game a few weeks anyways. The ones who would be playing years later got shafted. Its another titanfall. Fun for a month and then you'll have a hard time getting games in 6 months.

Zomg. I played the beta and there was just something wrong with it even though it did look good. The gameplay wasn't great for me, I don't enjoy running around like in a chicken chase. Then your post made it all make sense. That's exactly it, it's a well polished turd.

Hopefully they have more/different hoth maps. The one in beta was a super craptastic representation from the movie.

I just preordered from gamestop (PC version). My GF gave me a gift card last year and its been in my wallet for over a year. So, preordered. I dug the demo and look forward to playing this.

Not exactly sure how you oversell a digital item, but greenmangaming wont be able to fullfill all order on launch day but will be done within 2 days. For your trouble you get a 30% off coupon.

It's possible they under-ordered licenses with their original order (after pre-orders) and then had to go back and get more only to find that maybe EA wanted a different deal and then they had to work out those logistics.

I have no idea how successful GMG is generally speaking, but this game might have pushed their "credit line" with EA.

Of course that's entirely speculation on my part. Maybe someone will do a story on the truth, because I agree, that's weird.

To be honest I dont mind so much...I'm only a couple of hours into FO4. Maybe I'll use the coupon on MGS or something. Its too bad that didnt apply the coupon to the existing order. 😛

Is anyone else going to play JUST because it's Star Wars and had great graphics, even though there is no single player campaign, and you are not going to play mulitplayer at all?

I am passing on this game. Its mediocre at best. A reskinned and stripped down BF4 if you ask me. A major disappointment when you compare it to previous Battlefront titles.

No, just wish it had a single, player, story mode...

At least you know it doesn't have that before purchasing it and finding out or something. I'm sure if market demand was there they'd make it, but multiplayer seems to be the only thing the publishers are really interested in backing.

Jumped in for some quick action and it was a hoot. Still not a deep game, but those levels are gorgeous. Endor was really impressive this first time out.
