Startup programs??????

Speed your boot up even more.

Start > Run: regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current(something don't remember)\Run

delete the ones you don't want (gets rid of the processing of them)
Your boot will speed up by 1/10000000 of a second, hehe.

Start>run> msconfig also works for XP

Go to the startup tab

I know it does, but if you only 'uncheck' them. As in disable the startup. I was saying to completely remove the ability to have them start up (so it will not show up in msconfig.)

Not really a big deal, I was just adding.

If you want to be able to speed your machine up more, I would also suggest going and read all the XP tweaks you can do. I found myself with a machine now that can boot up in 6 seconds.
