startup problem... please help...

Hi,

here's my problem: whenever I boot up my computer I get this stupid Black screen of death that says " windows registry or system.ini refers to the following file which it cannot locate.

vsdata95.vxd
Press any key to continue"

or something to this effect... I was uninstalling a few programs cause they were lagging my startup before. I know I could just press any key to continue, but that is equally as annoying. So can anyone give me advice on what to do to get rid of this stupid screen?

that is a vxd file associated with zone alarm. where you / are you running zone alarm?

if so, i would uninstall it. if you already uninstalled it, i would re-install it, then properly uninstall it
