Startup applications

I wanna clear some of the apps in my startup (In the msconfig screen) But - which are the important and useful ones? (Explorer, systray...?)
Thanx.

There shouldn't be an explore start up item. You can get rid of everything if you want, but I would advise leaving one loadpowerprofile, system tray, and scanreg checked. Anything else you need starting up automatically should stay as well. Like NAV auto protect, you could disable it but would have to start it manually everytime you booted to windows and the effects would be the same as having it in your startup. Now navdefalert is a different story, unless you like the deffinitions alert poping up all the time take that out. If you can't remember to update your deffinitions once a week then leave it and quit beeing lazy. Take out task schedular, take out taskmanager, load=, etcetc. If you have any probs you can always put the check back.
