Everyone's been joking about Godzilla, but now they're dumping the radioactive water into the ocean. Isn't that how the movie went? I remember him walking out of the sea at some point and trashing Tokyo.

Godzilla was the result of nuclear/atomic bomb testing. The amount of radiation from one nuclear bomb test is MUCH more than the total amount of radiation in that water... And there were a LOT of tests in the pacific....

The worst I'd worry about now would be a 6 inch tall version of godzilla ....

Not dangerous. The only negative effects this will have are very localized. Effects are heavily concentration-dependent, so as tcsenter said (more or less), the solution to pollution is dilution.
