Started watching Entourage

Had horrible expectations but this has become of my all time favorite shows.

I initially watched it because I saw some compilation of Turtle's lines but overtime grew to love Ari Gold, Lloyd, and the real king of the show Johnny Drama.. that guy just brings the luls to this show. I fucking love it when he bitches about something or reminisces about old times, he is comedy gold.

BTW... Emmanuelle Chriqui ( character name Sloan ) is a goddess among us earthlings. She is incredible. She has the most beautiful face and the most perfect feminine voice I've ever seen/heard in my life.

I really like how they feature dozens of celebrities. Bob Saget is a pimp.

I can't get past the idea that everyone appears to be a pretentious prick. Also, the "star" is a nobody in real-life, but he plays a guy who works with actual named-name stars?

It's true, it was great...but got to the point where I can't even watch it, doesn't seem worth the time 🙁.

They pretty much wrote themselves into a corner with what else they could do with the show after season 3 or 4. Not to say it isn't entertaining anyways. I shall not complain about funny lines and T&A

My wife and I really like the show.

ATOT is full of pretentious twats that can't get over the fact that you CAN enjoy shows that don't take themselves seriously.

OMG! If it's not The Wire good, then it must be shit!

Check out How To Make it In America.

Also a work from Mark Wahlberg and it's very similar... except the cast is in NYC trying to make a livin.

The fact that both Heller and Woosta love the entire series tells you all you need to know about this show. It was mildly entertaining for the first 2 seasons, but got lame pretty quickly afterwards.

It's like the same handful (I can almost predict the successive arrival of each one) of posters who crap on threads about anything.

pretty much ... and the fact i'll never have that lifestyle, is interesting to see.

fixed, but you're right ... and most internet communities are like this about everything, it's the current trend ... hate what others like. like what other hate.

Seasons 1 & 2 were good. 3 was ok. Starting with season 4 I felt like they had different writers or something and it just lost the more...lighthearted? feel that the earlier ones did.

Season 4 just had a more mean, less fun mood to it. Can't really describe it.

If you watched deadwood it was like the transition from S2 to S3 and how the writing/style changed.

yourdescription hits it on the nuts ... I usually hate when people say after season x the show took a nasty turn, and it seems like they have different writers, and it's a different show ... but only Entourage, and The Simpsons have made me feel like that.
