I've been having some sound related issues, so I decided to go back to my on board sound to see if that helped.
I uninstalled my sound card drivers, shut down and removed my sound card. I changed the BIOS to enavle onboard sound, started up and installed the latest Realtek audio drivers (dated 5/17/05). Rebooted and the sound is fine, games and videos all play fine, but then I tried using Teamspeak.
I can't get Teamspeak to work correctly, and I think its because I need adjust the microphone settings in the volume control. Problem is that when I go to Start/programs.../volume control, it pops up a box that says:
"There is no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panle, click Printers and other Hardware, and then click Add hardware."
So I go to Add Hardware, but there is no mixer. There is the Realtek Audio, but it says its working properly.
How do I get to the damn volume control?
Also, when I go to Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices, in the Volume tab it just shows "No Audio Device".
