Started OC the MSI Diamond PLus with 4 stick TCCD,

I pretty much did nothing so far. All I did was changing the Voltage for the RAM to 2.8 and keep move the FSB up 5 at a time. Now I am running at 250FSB now and everything still solid.

Should I be changeing anything else on the Vcore or on the video card? Coz I have done nothing else other than changing the voltage on the RAM to 2.8

Thank you

Have you stress-tested that setting? I have some friends -- very competitive but not too savvy about benchmarking and stability testing. They OC their systems, and if Windows looks stable, they conclude that their settings are a rave success.

This would also be dangerous, with a possibility of hard-disk corruption if memory is failing.

You could know more than I'm assuming you know with these questions, but if you haven't done so, download MEMTEST86 and PRIME95 (or the Russian S&M beta 1.7.5 test program). Run the memory test first, and if the program posts errors, change the settings in a more stable direction. Ditto for the Windows stress-tests.

I've already posted a thread in recent days here about a situation where I had pushed a set of OCZ EL Gold DDR500 memories to their spec, run the stress-tests, and had them rock-stable for six months. Those settings were the limit for the modules without pushing the VCORE higher, but I had never backed off the setting for a margin of safety. I had to change my settings after a system crash so that the DDR500's are running at DDR488 at the moment.
