Started car this morning (cold morning)

then the check engine light came on. Had to take another car.

I am worried. Could the shaking be a sign that something has frozen? I checked my coolant and it wasn't frozen.
 
My wife started the van today and reporting bad things, too. Headlights are strong but dash lights are funny and a whirring noise. I will check @ lunch. Fvcking cars. GL with yours!

Did you have only shaking + CEL?
 
Although I called it and missed the CEL was not on in that other thread, I would guess this is a missfire, as you have a CEL. Get the code read and you should know for sure.
