Starship Orbital Flight Test 2 - 11/18/2023

Weather here is bad with some strong wind gusts. Doesn't look promising for a launch tomorrow.

That was interesting. Starship made it through staging. After Staging Super Heavy booster then experienced a RUD. 2nd stage continued firing and apparently about 8 seconds before Second Stage Engine cut-off the flight termination system activated. Have some more things to work on and hopefully the pad is in better shape than last time. No concrete tornado this time.

Looks good, it shouldn't take 6 months for the next launch attempt.
My prediction is sometime Q1 of 2024. They have the hardware. SpaceX just needs to review the data and let the FAA know what corrections they will make for the next attempt. Of course elmo will say they will launch again before the end of the year but I don't see that happening.

Reading comments about how today's launch was failure really show how stupid the general public is. The mission achieved its objectives but most of the comments mock Musk or actually wished he was on it....
