Attempting to watch "Hank" now. Even Kelsey Grammer won't be able to keep this boat afloat

I'll watch the premier and give it an honest shot, but I'm not expecting much. Looks like BattleStargate Voyager-on-crack to me. That said I liked both Stargate and ST Voyager, so assuming the BattleCrap Galactica overacting/drama-that-makes-no-sense doesn't fuck it up it should be passable. And younger audience my ass. I'm 21 and love the original Stargate/Atlantis. Know plenty of fans my age as well. What demographic are they aiming for? 13 year olds?

I haven't watched any Sci-Fi since they changed their name to something some shithead kid would text to try to be cool. However, I'll have to watch an episode of this to check it out. I've watched a little of each of the Stargate series, but I always dislike them. I love the movie with Kurt in it, though, so I always check out the new SG series to see if they're worth watching.

I'm still on the fence. However the camera work is annoying and looks like they are speeding the film up.

it was a good bit better than I was expecting, so I'll give it a few more episodes before making any real decisions.

its interesting how they change the chief scientist from being loved and trusted by everybody on station to a person that every body either hates or not trust.

like when the scientiest was going to press the button to fix the life support and the airman drew down on him and almost wasted him. that would never happen to Daniel Jackson or Rodney...

Jackson and McKay were well-established and trusted - doesn't look like people trust this guy, nor do they have much reason to..

It's just one ep. though. Let's see how the chief scientist is viewed at the end of the season. It just didn't feel like Stargate though except for the actual Stargate and the part when they beamed Eli up to the ship.

Why was the dude popping warfarin like smarties?
Bad heart.

sigh.

*hint* you don't pop warfarin like smarties

*hint* warfarin won't help with chest pain (angina)
All I know is its and anticoagulant, which is why they wanted him to stop taking them when he had a major bruise with internal bleeding.

Eidt: I looked it up on wiki, and I don't see any indications it would be used for chest pains.

"Stargate: Hell's Gate"

While traveling a wormhole to an unexplored planet, a pulsar implodes into a blackhole, pulling on their wormhole and shifting the graviton spectrum. They end up on the planet, but in a different dimension. SG team 666 encounters what seems to be a supernatural version of the universe, where dreams become reality and thoughts become action. :Q
