it seems like they occurred in a similar time frame..
Atlantis was just an ancient outpost in the pegasus galaxy.
this is like saying... check the air force base in the West Indies. I'm sure it has the nuclear launch codes.
You made the argument that Atlantis is a base on the outskirts. ...Why is it so impossible that Atlantis has information about Destiny?
I didn't say that Atlantis is a base on the outskirts... unless you want to state that the West Indies is on the oustkirts?
Atlantis was just another outpost.
When it was on earth.. it was in the Artic.
When the Orii began their "war" against the ancients... a group of ancients commondered Atlantis and jumped it to Pegasus.
Atlantis wasn't "special" ... it wasn't the White House of the Ancients. It was just another base... and Destiny is just another 'seed ship'
Did you even watch the new episode?
I just watch for the soldier with the huge yabbos (don't say you don't). I wonder how she made it through basic with her plastic surgeon in tow?![]()
So again I ask. Why is it so impossible for the Atlantian databases to not have information on the Destiny?
It's not impossible.... just improbable.
Yes, granted Destiny and Atlantis were built by Aliens, and their protocols are no way like ours.
But... in the modern US Military... i assume that every base does not have specifications for every ship in service.
It is highly unlikely that i can go down to Buckley AFB, and get detailed schematics, specs, and classified information about the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) from their computer systems.

I play 2nd Lt. Vanessa James and for all the talk about my natural (and believe me they are 100%) assets I promise you that there is much more to my character. Who knew that a tank top could cause such a stir. LOL!!
Did you even check the timestamp on my post?
What what is it you deem useful? They were forced into contact with an unintended alien. How exactly do you purpose they do something useful when they were unable to control who they contact?
Yeah, just like every other actress in La-La Land she's 100% natural (thanks to her plastic surgeon).
My post was made the day before the episode aired. Up until that point all they had used the stones for was to go back to Earth for personal reasons and to set up some stupid love triangle.
So at that point, no, I hadn't seen the new episode.
:roll;
It is unclear how humans came to be in the Pegasus Galaxy on Stargate Atlantis. If they evolved naturally, they would be the third iteration of human forms.

Nerd Fail.
At one point in the series (Episode - The Gift), they stated that the Ancients aboard Atlantis began seeding Humans in the Pegasus Galaxy. They accidentally seeded a planet inhabited by the Iratus bug, and it began feeding on the humans.
It was the Iratus/Human hybrid which became known as the Wraith.
They never said where the humans came from originally in Pegasus. Were they taken from the Milky Way galaxy, specifically Earth? Were the found already in Pegaus. We don't know for sure how humans came to be in Pegasus, only that the Ancients spread them around.
Yes they did. Go Watch the episode, The Gift.
The Ancients seeded life in the pegasus galaxy.
Yes, but its unclear whether they created the life, or brought it from another galaxy.
It is implied they created the life... as the revalation was in an Ancient "lab"
Either way... the ancients introduced life to the pegasus galaxy.
Regardless, the point of my post is that Atlantis was implied to be the principle home of the Ancients and should therefore have the records of the Destiny mission.
