Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar gripes. . .

I still watch SG1 and SGA, though they haven't gripped me with any recent episodes (and I agree we need RDA back!).

BSG on the other hand... I though the last episode was awesome. Even the abortion issue was cool, how it was for the survival of the human race (and to get baltar into the running for president). Plus a huge space battle, commander adama... Great episode after the last few which I thought weren't as good.

I think all of the shows are doing well. The guy that plays Mitchell is doing as well as can be expectd, in fact I am rather impressed with how it turned out. Shepard on Atlantis drives me sort of nuts, sort of my least favorite character really.

Atlantis, i watched ahead and the ending season eps are really good

yes the atlantis ending (last 2 eps) are awesome.... but i agree theres too much "filler" in between the season start/end episodes (and this really applies to all 3 series imo... i know you have to have a somewhat downtime between the beginning and end of each season but they seem to take it too far and dont give the middle episodes enough attention).

I did like this past weeks battlestar (hated the abortion thing but the battle/adama's son "rising to power" was done really well) but the 3 or 4 eps before it were bad imo and this next weeks one looks to revert back to the bad ones. I know budget comes into play but you dont need lots of killer effects to make a compelling story.

After ascending, why didn't the Ori come back and kick the Wraith's asses and enslave the humans there?

And i thought hte Ori and Wraith were different galaxies as well

They are. The Ancients were the ones who fought the Wraith, not the Ori. And once the Ancients ascended, they adopted a non-interference policy, except that they protected the area from the Ori.

I like all three, but SGA needs to speed up a little bit...but I guess when you're trying to achieve the longevity like SG1...you can afford to stretch your story lines a bit 😉
