Ok, well the first try at recording was a no go because ATI decided before it was going to let the AIW record the show I scheduled in DVD format (MPEG2), it was going to warn me that I didn't have their DVD player installed and I might not be able to watch it. So until I clicked "OK", it didn't record. :|:|:| Stupid mofo's!


Anyways...I cleared that stupid a$$ warning out, and set it up to record the re-broadcast @ 11pm.

That was kinda a ripoff of the star wars death star trench flight there in the end. And wasn't it the vent they targeted in star wars also? :confused: bah, it was good, but it was far from original.

I have to agree. The first thing I thought of when they were targeting that vent and flying close to the ship was Star Wars. At least they used missiles though... ;)

Did you also notice the Indepedence Day mother ship seen when the ship came through the clouds and just hovered over the city.

I still liked it even if they are ripping off of other movies. I think all the writers have become very sarcastic.

I have always loved how Jack (Richard Dean Anderson) is always making quick little remarks. For instance, when he tried matching proverbs with the guy on that planet, and when he was in the briefing room taking about the plan to take on Anubis' ship. No matter the situation, he always has a funny remark... ;)

I think the ripoff was intentional. Just before takeoff in the X-302 O'Neil and Carter were talking with the base and the base gave the callsign for their flight and O'Neil said "I thought we were going with red leader on this one?" Anyway, it was a very good couple of episodes.

edit: i like how i called it a movie.. i guess it was a movie.. sorta... ok.. i'm just dumb
