Starcraft sucks now.

Come back to play a couple games of starcraft after not playing for a few years, and every game I play my enemies know my every moves.

just play games I set up or lan games

Maybe they are just better then you are. It drives me nuts how in a lot of RTS games people build huge armies and end the game in five minutes.

No, a game would typically go like this: I'll go attack someone early in the game only to find the person I'm attacking and one of his allies waiting for me at his base. Or I'll go attack one and the minute my guys are halfway across the map my base gets attacked.

B.net takes cheating seriously and wouldn't let a known maphack persist for any length of time. There's also this thing called recon that can have the same effect you're describing.

It sounds to me like you just suck.

You probably are rusty, like I was. First time playing in about 2 years last week at a lan center against kids I used to beat. I could've swore they were map hacking but looking at their computers across the room they were clean... I was just rusty.

only way to really tell is to watch the replay. many players are really good now. i was only medium good and with friends as allies i've had my decent share of accusations of cheating.

LOL Red Alert 2 has so many hackers, cheaters etc. They disconnect when they're about to lose or they send you an error message so the game disconnects. They have a code to build super units LMAO. I stopped playing Red Alert 2 like 5 months ago really.

You're probably rusty. My problem is that they're all buddy teams. I just like to play team games, and it just sucks when you keep losing. It just takes all the fun out of playing.

Play 3v3 Micro TVB. It doesn't matter if they can see what you're doing due to the close quarters, and the only thing to see is the ass-kicking I'm giving them in their own base. Plus the team placement is random, so you can't have all the good players stacked on one side except by chance.

I alwaus just did the custom maps and did the oens wher eyou build canons to kill stuff or build the missile towers and stuff. THose can be fun.

UMS (Use Map Settings) maps are great fun. StarCraft has the best Lord of the Rings based maps. I quit playing WCIII and went back to StarCraft just for the LOTR maps, initially.
