Starcraft Remastered is out today

Well, he had played it. I looked at some comparison videos, and could see the point that it doesn't look greatly difference full screen, but they'd zoom in to details to show a lot of difference.

Given that the original and SC 2 are in my backlog, it can wait to get the remastered. Hell I have a ton of remastered games to get to - homeworld, Metro series...

YouTube is not the best medium for it. The original is limited to 640x480. Played at 1920x1080 its a giant blurry mess. You cant read any text, and units just look like pixel blobs. Remastered supports being played on 4k displays. Everything is crisp and sharp and the units have some great details.

I put in tons of time back in the 90's when it first came out, and I did a pre-order for the remaster.

I'm not a graphics whore and I'd still suggest the remaster if you actually want to play it all the way through. Consider it an investment into your eyeballs.
