When I first heard of SC ghost for consoles only, I really didn't give a hoot. I thought it will be ok and not much of a loss. But when I saw the first screenshots and found out the main character was a girl (i am a softy for female based main characters but enough of that), all i could say was damn it all! First thing I thought was how the hell a PS2 or GC or even an X-Box could render those graphics at reasonable frames. Why would Blizzard not even make a PC version, at least rockstar did that with their gta 3 series. They are neglecting a huge fan base, also ironic since Blizzard's greatest hits are all PC games! THere are tons of pros and cons to throw around.

Console Only Pros:
- larger televisions > small monitors
- no hardware incompatibilities
- easy to play with friends when they are over at your place

Console Only Cons:
- set tv resolution is nasty
- no turning up the eye candy
- console stuff: speakers, controllers, online modules, etc... are too expensive than what they are actually worth
- mouse+keyboard = smoothest way to play a FPS or TPS
- some console online services charge on top of what you already pay for broadband
- more people play online on computers
- console games are $$$, $50 to $60 for the first half year or so (pc can be found on sale within first week and can even be free with the illegal method, hey that burner was a wise investment!)
- might have some lag (consoles do lag in their own games)
- no patch fixing
- and finally the biggest gripe NO MODDING AT ALL! so don't expect some creative guys to make something good even better

But if this game is trully that good, I geuss I can get a console, but the extra $$$ will be alot. Gotta pay for the console, and alot for those games, $100 can barely get you 2 new games, extra stuff like mem cards or cordless controllers. At least I have the tv already =/.

yup, just buy an xbox. esp now that they can be hacked to do so many things.

dropping pc support pprobably helped with their developement cycle.

not to mention pc profits would probably only be iffy. pirates go crazy on single player games that don't need cdkeys to play online.

Get a Gamecube. $150 with a Game Boy Play or a free game thrown in for free. It has a library of great games such as Zelda: The Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine, Star Wars: Rohue Leader, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Resident Evil 1, Resident Evil 0, Eternal Darkness, and a whole bunch more. Pretty soon there will be more great games released such as Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle, Star Wars: Rebel Strike, Metroid Prime 2, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Geist, and HOPEFULLY Too Human will finally be confirmed for release, although it will probably skip this generation and go to Nintendo's next system.

BINGO.

And if you think the Xbox can't handle or properly "treat" a traditionally PC based game I suggest you play Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.

Luckily knights of the old republic is coming out on pc. Even though $300 for all that stuff is cheaper than a brand new pc, I use my pc for many things and I really get the worth out of it. Also, i'm a cheapo pc budget monger/overclocker so i get speed for a low price. One more note, if I don't get burned console games, getting new console games really adds up to alot of money.

The fps rate drops to about 30 or so when I go outside in KOTOR.
