Starcraft Brood war

Hey, I play starcraft a lot and ive noticed that it dosent close anymore (well not properly) Ill go to the exit button and itll take me back to desktop but ill see the Broodwar icon in the taskbar thing at the bottom. If i click it it dosent maximise again and it dosent close unless i use the ctrl alt del method. This has happened since i installed norton systemworks 2003. Why? and how can i stop it?

There's your problem. Don't install that junk, especially not the crash guard.
