starcraft, battlenet, and wine

Have wine installed in pclinuxos and then installed starcraft broodwars...play is better then any other distro I have tried so far.
Single player Nice and smooth just like I am in xp.
So downloaded latest battlenet patch for multiplayer and ran it in side of starcraft folder.
Ran fine and updated. Connected to battlenet server, and here is where everything goes to pot.
The fonts, background, everything is all screwed up in general although I can kind of navigate my way around a little.

Anyone got a solution for this?

Why do everything in your power to make using your computer difficult?

Because he likes his computer? Because he sees no reason to waste 120 for an OS, when there are free alternatives that do what he wants?

Thats not a solution to the question.
Why be afraid to try and learn new ways to do things?

I agree 100% I have linux installed but i also have windows, i dont wanna make MY computing difficult.

well there is no real good answer I can find other then cedega but have found that it is possible when you get to battlenet screen to select join. Then if you make note that the ok button can be reached by tabbing over 8 spaces you can join a game.

Once inside of a game the play was normal except for some reason I kind of had to paint my screen with the mouse cursor to reveal it.
Not the best solution but worth a try it may work better on your setup.
I do have the ati drivers installed for linux by the way🙂
