This will be Starcraft 2. They haven't developed the franchise enough to make a truly hardcore MMO like WoW.

After Starcraft 2 they will make a Starcraft MMO or another Diablo game (either MMO or Diablo 3)

starcraft MMO would be a weird move.

why cannibalize the audience from WoW and add additional development / support / infrastructure costs on top of it? (presumably, "SCO" would need its own developers, CM's, GM's, servers, etc)
 
I'd love to see an MMOFPS, I've always thought that was a very cool idea that justed needed a big company behind it and I think Blizzard definitely could do it.

Good job, you made a useless post. At least my opinion had something to do with the thread.

MMOs are too profitable to be ignored, and several people at Blizzard have stated that each of their franchises will have at least one MMO. Blizzard cares enough about storyline driven content that they won't release a starcraft MMO until Starcraft 2 comes out.

Your opinion had to do with the thread's subject, and my "useless post" had to do with your opinion, clearly you can't read between lines. I was saying that you were speculating, if you didn't get it at first glance. And where are the statements from those "several people at Blizzard" ? I'm ready to believe it if you can provide me one or more sources about that. You and I cannot tell for sure if they will make this or that game, it's conjecture, speculation at best.

Actually, that screenshot is real. The logo for Starcraft 2 looks exactly like the one Blizzard just announced.
 
i will probably buy starcraft 2. the graphics do not look crazy awesome or anything for something that probbaly wont be out for another year. but being blizzard i'm pretty sure it'll be a good game which is mroe important (That and its not like the graphics are bad)
 
Bah, I am happy and excited at the same time. It looks awesome but yet I miss a new race which should have been implemented. But who knows?
