wtf is up with the 25 percent off. Its not taking it off the total price but only the cheapest item

Got it to work. Gamestop has such a shitty website design. Things kept popping up and sometimes it would work and sometimes it didnt. I couldnt get the free 3 day shipping to show up with the 25OFF. Did anyone else have this problem? I might have to email them about it. Btw coupon does not work with store pick up.

Amazon just sent me a beta code for pre-ordering, even though there's no mention of it on their product page yet. I pre-ordered the CE, but it's probably a safe bet that they're giving them away with either version.

I ordered the normal version from Amazon a few weeks ago and just received a Beta key as well.
 
My experience with pre-orders from GameStop stores (not sure if their website works the same way) is you go in, throw down whatever amount you want on the pre-order with a min of $5. If you don't go back to pick up the game after it's released the $5 (or whatever you laid down on the pre-order) is added to your account as a credit.

Best Buy pre-orders are always $5 (at least my go to location has never let me drop more then $5), if after the game is released and you don't buy it you can take your receipt in to BB and get the $5 refunded to you. Or exchange the pre-order for another current pre-order.

I have done this many times now, some games just suck.

though you make a good point. gamestop probably has debt in corporate bonds. they can pay off some of that debt which probably yields say 6-7% with the early cash flow from this early, so in a way they are yielding 1.5% or whatever on it because they could basicaly be buying their own debt back with our cash interest free.

This did happen with the BC2 pre-orders on Steam, and this is how I noticed the CC charge right away instead of a 5 weeks later when the game shipped. I'm not saying it is going to happen with this game either, my point was it could be a hot deal for the game publishers more than anything else if this "deliver something when you pre-order" mentality becomes the norm.

I canceled my BC2 pre-order on Steam so they still had my $49.99 for 4-5 days. They are getting to be like banks and nickel/diming you at every turn.
 
I ordered online for in-store pickup & went into the store in the evening, the guy didn't even ask for my ID or the $5/10.

He just gave me a printout with a key & I left. Happen to anyone else?
 
25OFF doesn't appear to be wroking anymore... am I wrong?

I add a filler 2.99 item to bump my order of CE over $100. Then the 25OFF applies only the the 2.99 item. Additionally, on the product page for SC2 it says that the item is not compatible with "% OFF COUPONS"

Is it still working? / HOW THE FUCK DO I MAKE IT WORK
 
yeah i ended up buying two regular sc2 with the 25off. I wanted the CE but it does not work anymore for it.
 
Damn. I guess I should find some friends to pre-order with... ORRRRRR I could also pre-order Halo Reach. Decisions...

I did reinstall it. EVen went in the support folder and launched 'sc2scwitcher' or something like that, same thing. i just reformatted and am trying to again. it's never stopped the loop where it says 'downloading latest patch
no problems found', etc.

getting a little ridiculous now.

if i open the regular starcraft.exe it opens the update box and just loops over and over about installing new patch, no problems detected, etc. someone posted about going into the support folder and clicking sc2swticher.exe or something to that extent and it goes to load the game. shows the mouse and loading bar then it crashes.
