Hey is there a benefits to running sc2 on a bootcamp on my mbp or is it the same on osx? The retails packages are discs that can run both right? Thanks in advance!

There are performance benefits. I wouldn't bother with it if you have a newer system with the 330m.. but if you want the best performance, then you might want to boot into Windows.

Blizzard gives you both though, so just try out OS X and see if it works well enough for you.

you'll get a pretty big boost when playing sc2 in boot camp, like being able to run medium to high settings. i run sc2 in osx at 1680x1050, everything set to medium (minus the movies and stuff that only have low or high settings, and i set them to high), and it plays just fine.

i do prefer windows for gaming, but the performance isnt that terrible in osx that would want to make me switch to boot camp exclusively for gaming (i have a dedicated pc for that :p).

I only got a ~20 percent boost playing SC2 on bootcamp with a 320m. Low enough that I stay in OS X, even though I'm using 10.6.4 which is apparently bad for gaming.
