Starcraft 2 and ATI/Catalyst Drivers

Hey all,

Figure I'd post this here. I'm getting some really strange issues in Starcraft 2.

First; After playing extended periods my mouse cursor suddenly degrades for one of my monitors. Never both, and only when I switch to that monitor.

Also;

On certain 3v3 maps I get this glitch, almost as if one of the layered textures are coming out normally. I don't how how to describe it. This only happens in new Catalyst drivers, 10.12a (hotfix).

Here are examples;

This happens randomly and only in Starcraft 2. My 5750 temps don't go above 70c and my CPU never above 60c. I am not overclocking any component(s) of my PC.

Anyone have thoughts?

PS - This was not happening in 10.7. I think the new drivers are just f'd up. If this keeps up I'll be going to a 480 or 570.

I don't want to have to roll back. I expect up to date working drivers. Something happened and now there's some sort of corruption. I'm curious of how many people get this issue.

I went straight from 10.7 to 10.10, 10.10 and 10.11 have this issue. I cannot be sure of releases between my update.

We have almost identical systems. Maybe it's something to do with our P6Ts and drivers?

hehe yeah we do indeed have a same system.
I hope the new catalyst fixes it soon.
I have this video corruption at random times.

interesting. i'm still running 10.9 (lol) so no problems here. guess i won't update quite yet

I'm currently running 10.11 on my 4870 and have not experienced texturing problems in SC2. Haven't installed 10.12 yet though. Less of a priority when your video card is obsolete, no love from new drivers.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm wondering if this is a 5xxx series issue or if 4xxx and/or 6xxx cards also have this problem.

I'm using the 10.12 non hotfix version. Don't have any issues with SC2 and I play that a lot. That said, I have the issue where if your system turns the monitor off, you have a chance to blue screen. This seems to be the worst driver release I've seen in an extremely long time.
