The dry cleaning lady asked me "Light, Medium, or Heavy?"

I been going to the ddry cleaner for years and they never asked. For the first time she does and i was clueless. I just said medium.

I know it has to do with ironing clothes but whats the purpose of it?

Depends on the cleaner on how much they starch. If the clothes need starch, I usually light starch clothes when ironing them.

I used to go to one cleaner that used to starch shirts like crazy. I could throw tennis balls off the shirt. They were like boards.

So if i load up on the startch on the shirt, then it would stay wrinkle free? That sounds like a good idea to me..

If I'm doing it myself, I usually spray it on, let it dry a little, then iron over it, then spray it on the next section, let it dry a little, then iron over it, and so on.

I would get no heavier than medium starch unless you KNOW a shirt will wrinkle like crazy throughout the course of the day and you'd like it to look fresh at the end of the day. Otherwise, it's usually too crusty for my tastes.
