has almost 500mg caffeine! that's like 10 cans of MT dew. I take it twice a week and feel alert as hell. anyone try the black eye? strong and bitter and adds another 100mg caffeine. sweet!

Sweet jesus. My colon just cried a little thinking of the hell that would wreck on my gut. Do they put a disclaimer on there about not trying to excerise, handle sharp objects, or work around long falls after consuming a cup?

And this is coming from a guy who's already had three cups of coffee this morning.

I downed one of those once each day in last Spring's semester (21 credits) my exams ran butt to butt and they were long days..made them a little better!

I've never tried it, though I've always meant to; I know some people that have it as their every day drink. I typically just get a grande Americano, but I stopped going to Starbucks when HST came in, now I just use the espresso machine at work.

ive had the same thing at coffeeshops under a different name, but dont like the flavor of starbucks coffee enough to consider it from there.

black eye = 2 shot espresso

Excellent, I must try this. I usually need 3 cups of coffee just to wake up in the morning.

Where I got it a red eye was 2 shots and a black eye was 3. Thought that was the standard.

Never had them called that ... But, I have had 2 or 3 shots of espresso added to their large sized coffee before ...

I love espresso, but it's too expensive to drink a big 24oz+ mug every day, so Usually I stick with french press ... it's pretty much as concentrated as espresso, but much cheaper/easier to brew ....

On Fridays when I work from home, I drink 48 oz+ ... it's fantasticly delicious!
