Which part causes cancer?

he thinks that because it's sugar-free, i'll get cancer... he neglects to realize that the amount of sugar that are in those drinks would have a higher chance of causing cancer and/or diabetes than would any sugar substitute.

... not exactly. check the starbucks nutritional info... hardly any sugar in it. all the sugar is from the steamed skim milk.

That's my point. There's still a *ton* of sugar in it, just from the milk.

that's not a ton, dude... a ton would be like 40g. a lot would be like 27g. i'm cool with like 13g... it's not like i'll get all fat or have diabetes or anything.
