Honestly if that is what Carrie looks like now, she looks good. I've seen past pics of Carrie the Hutt and she looks like ass. Now Mark Hamill looks like hammered Jedi shit. I don't know how they'll CGI that.

Mark Hamill is already in the best place for him... as the voice of any animated version of the Joker

that way I don't have to look at him

I don't know, I kind of like him as Skips.

mark hamill's face is rotting off but reading his career on imdb it's a damn travesty and i feel bad for him, i say give him one last shot at the limelight just as kind of a national sympathy.

Why would you feel bad for him? He get's near constant voice over work. With enough volume, that is serious money. It's a lot more convenient than movies, so you cHe's not Harrison Ford, but at least he isn't Carrie Fischer.

He had lean years in the 1980's though, I guess. I'm sure he found some way to cash in on star wars during that time.

Didn't the lil' guy from the last Idiot Abroad do Yoda's non-puppet scenes? Seems like I've read that. He was also the lead Ewok, I think.

Warrick Davis, who also played Willow, was Wicket in RotJ. Not sure what you mean by "non puppet scenes," But Yoda was voiced by the late, great, Frank Oz and handled by a Henson puppeteer (might have been Oz, afaik).

as far as the fake CGI yoda...I have no idea what or who was involved with that. It's all crap anyway and is best ignored. :colbert:

I think Mark Hamill should be skywalker no matter what, stick him on a treadmill and put him on a diet and he'll be in fighting shape in no time.

He wouldnt look as bad as you think with a beard. He can have a rugged look because of all the battles he has fought. There were many battles after the death star was destroyed as the empire still had lots of troops.

Maybe he fell in some lava like his father before him?

Looking like that would make sense for Fate of the Jedi 40+ years after Yavin but not immediately after ROTJ.

But hey, Fate of The Jedi has a cool story...it's just how the hell could a movie pick up after 40 years without explaining all that happened? They should definitely utilize EU content though.

I just hope the people that read all that post film shit and are all into that lore don't get all butthurt when the stories are completely different and ignore all this fanboy turd.

No one should give a flying-rat's ass if these fake stories ("authorized" lmao) are what should happen when this put on celluloid.

I hope Luke rages and kills a bunch of storm troopers. gets drunk on burgundy bantha wine, shacks up with tattoine whores, and spawns 10 little jedi bastards--half of them end up trying to kill him.

No there weren't. Because that wasn't in any of the 6 movies I saw. So it didn't happen.

Agree with zin about how hilarious it will be when the EU fans don't get their way in these new movies.

Although Mark Hamill with a beard does look cool.

I don't know much about SW nor ever got into it and if they are using old characters i think they would be in for a fail. I think they would do better to come up with some new, original characters set in a different timeline.
However it does seem like Hollywood is incapable of comming up with good characters these days that could ever be regarded as "classic" in the future.

I did see part 2 and noticed it had a lot of "corny" lines in it, they should prolly do away with that. Only others were part 5 and 6 when they first came out. Growing up, i'd rather have re watched some GI Joe cartoons but whatever.

I like the idea of Mark Hamill growing a beard since that might work. One thing those 3 have going for them is that they can act the part at least. I hope they turn down the job though if they get approached with lots of greenscreen work. Someone needs to stand up and say enough of the bogus acting sets.

Why is anyone even concerned with what they look like. Hollywood will find a way to buff anything right out. As for the story direction, I don't think they're going to go with the EU.

What I'm curious about is to what extent are they bringing these characters back. I wonder if they're going to bring back Wedge Antilles? :$

Guys might be right. Makeup plus beard could probably hide a lot of the fact that Skywalker looks like a guy with liver failure.

I assume these characters are more cameo parts; I cannot imagine for a moment that they will take these AARP actors and make them center pieces.
