DO NOT CLICK NEXT. You need to hit enter after you put in your detailed information. As in the physical button on your keyboard while the cursor in one of the text boxes. Clicking on the proceed button loops the page.

I used enter and it's still looping me. Will try later I suppose.

I still don't think I'm signed up. It does the scan, but when I try to submit the results, it goes back and makes me agree to the terms again. Freaking retarded POS, I hope it's not an indication of how things will work once the game is up and running.

there are two different developers, web and game, or it could be just the game devs doing the website, which would make sense

Just keep trying,it happened to my friends as well as myself, you get through eventually(should not take more then 30 mins),I found IE8 buggy during the beta sign-up ie no submit button was showing, however with Firefox it was a lot easier.

I think it took me about 6-7 tries though the loop to complete the sign-up.

You're right, I went through the loop another 7 times or so and it finally went through. Good grief.

lol i went through once on firefox, but the scan wouldnt work, so i swtiched to IE 8 and it worked on the first try 0.o

apparently bioware needs some better web developers. They also need to do some cross-browser testing. not to mention testing in general

I doubt the playtesters will be testing their webpage setup. It's just poor planning and execution.

Stuck at the validate stage now. However it hasn't sent a validation email yet again.

It's getting kind of interesting to see how long they can continue to drop the ball in different ways....

Edit: After more hoop jumping, it appears to have gone through.

Clicking on their submit buttons caused looping. Enter via the keyboard finally worked. IE8 failed constantly. Had to go to Firefox.

I wouldn't say they've dropped the ball at all here. If anything, they just drew thousands of more people to the game. Because some people couldn't get the "Testing" signup process to work does not matter.

And I'd like to know what other "ways" they have continued to drop the ball that you speak of.

...c'mon now

It's not an impressive first impression. And it does appear to be their website that's responsible for the issues. Were they so unclear on the interest in the game to completely misjudge the response? Two days later, you can access the website, but still have the same sort of errors popping up in registration. Their forum stickies on this were still mostly about what was wrong with your system.

I have lots of issues with other aspects of their approach to the game. Which may not matter as much to others - true.

Bioware has a deservedly good reputation, so this is small potatoes, but still relevant to me, when it comes to buying things. Due to their continued 'fox paws' Bethesda no longer gets my money on release day.

just a general rule. italics > underline when you are trying to emphasize something. All underlines on a the web appear to be hyperlinks.
