the downfall of any lightsaber games or 1to1 sword games for the wii or any other console would be lag... i hate games where even with a mouse, if you swing fast, your avatar takes half a second before it reacts... or screen tearing, etc, if you move too fast

Wasn't that called X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter? But yeah, a new TIE Fighter would be awesome, if done right. I loved that game. The feature of being able to start playing the game from any point in one of your saved replays is still impressive today. Imagine if you could enter one of your Halo 3 campaign saved films at any time, for instance.

Wasn't that called X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter? But yeah, a new TIE Fighter would be awesome, if done right. I loved that game. The feature of being able to start playing the game from any point in one of your saved replays is still impressive today. Imagine if you could enter one of your Halo 3 campaign saved films at any time, for instance.

Yeah, I remember X-Wing vs TIE Fighter. It just didn't seem right though. It was an early attempt at online multi-player (which wasn't very good because of the tech at the time) and the single-player experience really suffered.

I guess I should have said, "I wish they would do a proper Tie Fighter rehash."
