From the parent perspective its ok. My son loves it, but I personally like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot on Nickelodeon a lot more.
It's <the real, original> Star Wars <that everyone loved>. You could shit a R2D2 droid and it would get renewed for a 2nd season.
How does it compare with the 1990s series or the 3 live action movies? Or was it after your time...
It also costs a fraction of the price to animate, which is surely an argument in its favor.Rebels was renewed for a 2nd season.
I was surprised at that.
ratings for Rebels is 1/2 that of Clone Wars season 5. (and a fraction of Clone wars season 1)

how did they manage that?
Lower quality models and textures. Massive reuse of sets and characters. Fewer (and cheaper) voice actors.how did they manage that?
I don't get why we have 'Ye of little faith in Disney' people. Have you seen Aladdin? Lion King? Wreck-it Ralph? The amount of quality movies Disney has put out is far beyond any other studio.
episode 7?
I didn't watch the end of clone wars so don't know what happened to Barriss after osoka was found innocent because Barriss framed her.
but thought Barriss died in Order66?
any way to watch this without having cable?
wondered what happened to Rex.Season 2 trailer out! I liked this almost as much as the episode 7 one.

Looks like the clone crew showing up so soon is rebels was planned from not being able to finish clone. Part of the discussion mentioned that the plan when they got to the final season of clone wars would be to have order 66 occur during middle/late season and then have the wrap up episodes show the surviving main characters post episode 3.
