"In the original "Star Wars: A New Hope", Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker, called out the name of actress Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia, instead of actually calling out "Leia" in the scene near the end where he gets out of his X-wing after destroying the Death Star. The error was never caught."

I just found this on a fun facts site and was just wondering if it was true or not? I'm sure if it is some of you have noticed it, but I never did, although I have only seen the movie once or twice.

I think it is an untrue urban ledgend.

Yeah i figured even if it was possiblly true, that it would have been fixed before being put on video, and I didn't see it in the theater

it is true. a better blooper is when the storm trooper bangs his head on the door frame as he goes into the room where the robots are hiding on the death star.

They put an omen to that in Episode II when Jango bumps his head when enterting the Slave 1 ship. They are trying to say that since the storm troopers are cloned from Jango, that the trait runs in their genes 😀

Have you ever talked to a girl where you didn't have to give her your credit card number first?
