Star Wars III tickets, AMC theaters

man i shouldn't have left the job at AMC i would have seen it before anybody hehe gotta love those employee screeners....
 
I bought two tickets, and will pick them up tomorrow, and I'll probably take a half day from work so I can get in line early for May 18th.

When's that movie starting, anyway?

Sorry for not being exited enough but I think Episode 1 and to a lesser extend 2 show Lucas in a way that you can diagnose him manic-depressive and unable to apply common sense and avoid obviously bogus entries in his movies.
 
i'd be extremely surprised (and extremely dissapointed in my species as a whole) if there is a big rush to see this movie midnight opening day. fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. fool me three times lucas, and i deserve to be castrated.

I agree with the first two, however have you read the book yet? The book is way better than what either of the books for 1 or 2. I will not go to a midnight showing, but will be there opening day. Out of the 6 books, this one read the best.

Shouldn't be any fluff love scenes or Jar Jar in this one.......plenty of death though....but we already knew that.

At least we can take solace in knowing that this is the last one (hopefully) and Lucas can't screw the Star Wars mystique up any further.
 
I think I will wait like 2 weeks after opening day just b/c I see no need to wait in line w/ a bunch of stupid SW nerds. Plus I hate waiting in line for opening day movies.
 
It must be cool to keep talking smack on Lucas' "anti-midas touch" and everybody else being SW nerds, but you know inevatibly you're going to go see the movie. Just grab your toy light saber and stand in line with the rest of us. It's okay to say you want to go see it. 🙂
 
Think anyone else (you?) could have made the prequels better? I don't.
It would be impossible to match the sequels, but I enjoyed Ep. 1 & 2.
At least Jar Jar has an even smaller role than Ep 2.
 
Even though I preordered the tickets, I still have to worry about the line getting in, and of course where I'm going to end up sitting. Fortunately AMC theaters have stadium seating, so there really isn't a bad seat in the place.
