I've always been curious Red Dawn, why exactly you are so bitter against Christians? Was it a personal experience with someone that was bad or just anger that comes from nowhere? I'm not flaming or trying to mock, I'm seriously curious.

LordMagnusKain, it's a great idea, actually, and I wish you success with it, but as you can see from Mr. Asshat's response, ATOT is a vary largely anti-everything community, especially if it comes to religion. I'd suggest finding other gaming boards that might be more tolerant to your cause.
Oh, and asshat, er, I mean Moralpanic, if you REALLY feel like you have to take a sh*t on someone's earnest efforts to get a completely positive, legitimate group together, at least voice some sort of response that doesn't portray yourself as an absolutely uneducated dickhead shaftyanker, and maybe say WHY you don't think it would be a good idea.

Honest question: why make a Christian PA anyways? Do you feel uncomfortable playing with people who have not "accepted Jesus" etc? I mean, I believe in many things, yet I don't actively search those out who believe in evolution and find creationism total hogwash. Muslim, Christian, Jewish, athiest.. whatever.. they're all people, and if I don't like em, they're at least group members 😛
That FAQ really doesn't serve ya much good. You take questions and you answer them by telling the reader that he just doesn't understand, that he doesn't know Jesus' "truth" and whatnot. That Jesus owns you. Yes, it mighta felt good to write, but nobody will take that stuff seriously in any sort of a debate except for you. If ya post an FAQ for OTHER people to read, try and make it something they can relate to, not "because Jesus said so" stuff. You might think that FAQ is pure gold and should answer any and all questions but those who are skeptical will leave with a big ol'

I agree with the fact that no, it doesn't fit into a Star Wars game.. hell, no MMORPG at all. However.. and unfortunately.. with a game as massive and as popular with this, I think any and all signs of atmosphere and immersion will go out the window once everyone starts talking. I don't remember anyone in the SW movies going "d00d you stole my camp wtf i gonna tk u" hehe 😛

It?s good to have a place where you can say what you think without getting insulted. *and no, we don?t insult our local atheist, but where a little to ?truthful? in regards to a Mormon that came by trying to convert? we are only human* Is that enough to justify ourselves in having this community? I?m not sure, but I am sure of is the fact that PAs existence has done good for many people, including myself. But then back in 99 when I came to these boards *they where on UBB at the time!* this place was a good thing for me as well 🙂 but the less-harsh environment has done me good.

It's a specific religion that says that there is a small piece of "god" in every single particle and that the "host" can "pray" to those "god particles" to get their prayer granted. I don't remember what the religion is called, but it starts with a "T" IIRC from my Senior Bible studies.
I'm not sure if this religion cam first and Star Wars was based on it or Star Wars came first and the religion was based on it, but it goes against the basic, fundamental beliefs of Christianity, yes. But that doesn't mean that Christians aren't allowed to create an account and go around killing things in cyber space. 😉
