My expectations for the game are pretty low. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

why would your expectations be low? everything even hinted about in this game seems to be great/amazing

Because EVERY time Lucas Arts makes an action game like this they fumble...

Oh Monkey Island, how I love you.

OK we maybe they are wrong and the game is scored much higher, I will not be holding my breathe though. Honestly, does anyone really expect greatness from a Lucas Arts game?

It all depends on the actual review, reviewers are pretty stupid and often knock down points for small things or things that bothered them (nitpicks).

Devil May Cry 4 has 8/10, that's just 0.5 over this rumored score and I think Devil May Cry 4 is one of the best games I've played this year.

It all depends on the actual words, not the score, 7.5 is good anyways, I'm still excited about the game, ever since GTA IV's 10/10 got me more excited than a giddy schoolgirl only to find out the game is more like 8.5-9/10 I've learned not to trust reviews. Shame on you Rockstar, bribing reviewers was really uncool.

People have this tendency to think that the only way a game can be good is if it scores 9 or higher, I've enjoyed games with 7.x scores more than I have games with 9.x scores, reviewers often bring down points for bugs and stuff like that (they also could have simply not liked the game) and so the score would go down without being representative of what really matters, THE GAMEPLAY. Sure bugs can be detrimental to the experience but they should not bring down the score since it's something easily fixable. Overlord got a lot of **** for this for example.

That being said, I expect this game to suck. It seems like one of those games that has nothing going for it but a good license/IP and good marketing.
I'm looking forward to seeing if DMM and Euphoria contribute to the gaming experience. The tech demos for both are fairly cool. Besides, I'm not hard to please, let me wreak massive havoc with force powers, and slice and dice with a light saber, I'll be happy.

I'm looking forward to it. At least we get an early demo so we can make up our minds before we spend our cash on it. Demo is out next week on both 360 and ps3

I think its more that people have the tendency not to want to spend $60 on a 7.5, especially when theres barely enough time and money for most people to play the 8s and the 9s.
