Something about having to cover the screen with my finger to play a game just doesn't appeal to me. I still need to try out the monkeyball and cart racing games though, they look pretty good.

I'm also with BZeto. The touch screen is good for certain things like card games, but that looks like a pain in the butt to play.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

I don't own an iphone, and probably won't ever but I'm interested by the technology packed into it. I'm curious what playing that does to battery life.

Playing games on it KILLS the battery life.

This is the reason why I will keep my DS Lite.

You run into the same issue there though. If you are on the brightest LCD setting, you only get 4-5 hours of game time.
