Star Wars: Episode 3

Anybody know what the current status of Star Wars: Episode 3 is? Are they doing principle shooting yet? Are they just working on the script? Do they even have any of the props or sets made yet? I know that they're still casting some parts, but all the major roles have already been filled. I'm just curious, because I really can't wait for the next release of Star Wars, even if it is still 2 1/2 years off.

IIRC, script is finished, photo shooting begins soon and actual filming starts...summer 2003?

I thought shooting began a little later than that? I was thinking like November of this year. I think I remember reading about it somewhere, but I can't remember where or exactly what it said. Doesn't really matter to me, though, I suppose, since no matter when they start shooting, it still won't come out until 2005. 🙂

EDIT: You could also say...props? Who needs props? Actors...who needs actors? etc.

How could the script NOT be finished? Anyone here could eat a couple of reams of paper and poop a better script than the tripe George Lucas' fertile imagination comes up with.

The last two have SUCKED. You won't catch me seeing the future episodes in the theater. At this point, I'll probably wait for video release if at all...
