Who here other than me thinks SW2 will be awesome? The 4 trailers are great! My favorites are the Forbidden Love and the Clone Wars.

How much of the story will be told in this episode? Will we see Anakin join the dark side?

I'm so excited about this movie!
 
I am looking forward to it as well.

I am a sucker for continuing storylines, and I still like the Phantom Menace.

I'm fcukin' PUMPED! I can't wait! That last time I set foot in a movie theater was when I saw Episode 1, about 4 years ago. Now, I'll see Attack of the Clones...😀😀😀


I can't wait. I'll be there opening night. I may even be in some sort of costume, like the dorks we all like to laugh at. 😀

So the answer is yes...I'm insanely excited.

hmmm.. isnt this exactly what happened with ep1, everyone hyped about the movie and then it came out it sucked.

More forward to this than the re-release of E.T. I saw it when it first came out and it was just fine then. I think the re-release is just purely an excuse to soak the public for more money. Speilberg should just be happy with a DVD sale and keep it out of the theateres.

My opinion, from another thread:

Attack of the Clones? Ehhhh, I am not too excited. I love Star Wars IV-VI. Love them. Grew up on them. Was nurtured by their teet. Attack of the Clones will never compare, or stand aside these movies. The look of the movie is over the top, and the acting looks pretty bad. That's not Star Wars. Star Wars is simple, believeable, and a part of us all. I can't relate to Gungans and Wattoo's. I CAN relate to Chewbacca, C3PO - humans underneath it all. Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are too far out. Lucas tries to bring them back to earth by throwing in pieces of pop culture, but it comes off as trite and ruins the world he is trying to make us believe in.

Grrr.

He should have hit himself with a yard stick and said "No George! No computers! You didn't have them for the others, and you don't need them now!!"

Sure the movies would look primitive, but the feeling of Star Wars would probably be there. A CGI YODA?? ::Sniffle:: A tear falls for the death of the lovable puppet.

Sure I'll see it. I'm not saying I won't. But it will not be Star Wars.

 
Considering the fact that I've only seen one of the Star Wars movies (And I don't even know which one it was), I couldn't care less.

Blade II, on the other hand, is going to be the highlight of my week.

The first trailer that showed the love story really did not get me excited, but the last couple that have focused on the fighting really
look good. So I am really excited, this movie has such potential to kick some booty!

Yeah I guess you're afraid you'll watch LOTR and realize Star Wars (the new trilogy) is sh*t in comparison 😀 😀 😉
 
I would not go as far as saying that Star Wars is s**t compared to LOTR.

They are very different. They both stand their own ground. And I am hyped about both.
Plus some of the Natalie Portman outfits truly rock... (I am refering to the trailer run with LOTR)

Anyway. I am disgressing

LOTR is AWESOME and better than the trilogy. Everyday I wake up and think about the Two Towers. Not my girlfriend, not plans for the day, Two Towers. LOTR ROCKS!!!
 
Yep, having that new AWESOME Clone War trailer, the poster in theaters, and talk of Star Wars: Jedi Outcast, all have gotten me real pumped for some new Star Wars action. I can't wait. I've totally convinced myself that its not going to suck.
