so ive been watching the flics lately..and i wonder. what happens in the 20 years or so between episodes 3 and 4? anyone know?

is it really 20 years? i don't think its that long is it?
 
there is a book that goes into detial about it. think its named something strange like "VADER" or such heh
 
Luke and Leia grow up... Luke works on his uncle's farm and Leia gets involved in politics. There is a civil war going on between the Empire and a Rebel Resistence. Meanwhile, the Empire works on their secret weapon, a huge battlestation that has enough power to destory a planet (Death Star). Obi-Wan chills on Tattooine.
 
haha well i dont know if its 20 years i just made a reasonable assumption. and i know they grow up haha but i mean is there like a book or something i can read that has those years. like what does obi do? doesnt he get in touch with qui-gon jin?

i think he mastered cranking it using the force. i hope he didn't get in touch with qui-gon and go all brokeback on tatooine.

pretty much although i can't call being on tattoine chilling since it's a desert planet but that's where he was.

Adoptive daughter of Bail Organa, senator of Alderaan. Royalty and repblic-eqsue titles are interchangeable in some planets. The Organa's were probably a royal family choosing to serve the republic as a representative, or the planet as a king, queen, etc.
There is also the flipside, like Naboo. The queen is elected, not appointed or inherited.

the uploading of that data was basically all that mattered.
