i've seen the trailer on tv recently and all i can say is...
why would i want to pay $9 (or $20 if i want snacks) to see something that looks like it was rendered on an x-box?

The first one was animated in samurai jack style, this one is animated in final fantasy the spirits within style... wonder if lucas will do south park style in 3 years and "re-release" it again just for $$?

Actually, I'd say the style is closer to the TMNT CGI movie that came out a year or so ago.

The movie is just an intro into a new TV series for the Clone Wars that is set to start after the film. Lucas considered the Samurai Jack styled one to be a 'pilot series'. This one is going to expand on that universe.

It really doesn't make much sense though as Lucas is breaking continuity again by giving Anakin a padawan even though he was a padawan himself until the start of Ep III.
