Star Trek vs BSG vs Stargate SG-1 or Atlantis

Here it is the ultimate tpoic. Since today is the season premier of BSG i thought to myself which one do people like better BSG or Star Trek. Let me know what you think and why. after further review i decided to put SG on this question too. Also if you like ST name your SERIES , TOS , ds9 etc.

BSG for the cinematography and writing but ST for it's impact on society and general ideas they present

What star trek? Do you mean the star trek universive in general, or a specific series?

I never watch an episode of BSG. And the only ST shows I have watch were either kirk or picard.

I liked TNG a lot. I'd need a couple more seasons from BSG before I can more accurately judge which is better but until then TNG.

BSG is a superior show by far, but ya as someone said, ST has a larger impact on society and such.

I do not like BSG. I do like ST. Therefore, I like ST better. I also like SG better, but that's off the topic of this off topic thread.

you a smart man and i see you have love for ST to even want it clered up that way, okay if you pick ST then pick your series, tng, tos or DS9(which i love)

I thought this was about an interstellar free-for-all with Adama and Galactica vs. Kirk and old Enterprise vs. Picard and new Enterprise?

I'll take Kirk any day of the week.

the old enterprise had a horrible script, horrible acting/directing, and laughable storyline.

he wasn't talking about the script, acting, directing, or storyline. he thought it was about an actual fight and therefore chose Kirk and the old Enterprise whom he feels would kick more ass.

for me i love all these shows very dearly. (cep enterprise, geez that was a piece............no no no wait voyager that was the trash of man if i ever see janeway imma slap that chickenhead) for star trek my fav show was DS9, my fav captian was kirk(str8 @$$ kicker)
I think sg-1 is a real good show with comedic lines that at times go soo good with the show you forget how corny it can get sometimes(tho this past season was a bit over the top for me). Atlantis, i dunno about it seems well................ yeah neway.
But the king of them all is BSG. The writing is super, the acting is almost classic in the sense of the golden age of hollywood, and the way they flim it is turly a work of art. May the lords of Kobal guide this show thur a high rated season.

bsg is the only sci fi show i like, but i started watching sg-1 because of it. sg-1 can be kinda silly though.
